Three things to know
The rating is the circuit's, not the breaker's
A breaker protects the wire after it. A 16A breaker on a thin wire is right; a 32A breaker on the same wire lets it overheat. When in doubt, ask your electrician which wire is in the wall.
AC and DC are different
Solar panels and batteries are DC. Their breakers are built for it and are marked with the DC voltage. Don't put an ordinary breaker there.
Order of the board
Main switch or change over first, then the earth leakage breaker and voltage protector, then one MCB per circuit.

What is the price of an MCB breaker in Pakistan in 2026?
On our store a Prime MCB costs Rs 430 for the 16A single pole, Rs 930 for the 20A double pole, Rs 1,350 for the 63A triple pole and Rs 1,800 for the 32A four pole. Mora MCCBs are Rs 5,500 (100A) and Rs 11,000 (200A). All with cash on delivery across Pakistan.
What do C16 and 6kA mean?
C16 is the rating: 16 amps on the C curve, the curve used for the mixed loads of homes and shops. 6kA is the breaking capacity, the biggest fault current the breaker can safely cut. For a house or shop board, 6kA is the usual figure; MCCBs for main supplies go up to 25 or 50kA.
Single, double, triple or four pole?
Single pole switches the live wire of one circuit. Double pole switches live and neutral together, so it is the usual main switch of a small single-phase board, and the choice for a geyser, AC or pump circuit. Triple pole is for three-phase supplies and motors, and four pole adds the neutral.
MCB or MCCB?
An MCB (miniature circuit breaker) protects one circuit, up to 63 amps or so. An MCCB (moulded case circuit breaker) is the heavy main breaker for a whole shop, plaza, factory or large building, from 100 amps up, with a much higher breaking capacity.
Which breaker for an air conditioner?
Most 1 to 1.5 ton ACs are wired on a 20A double pole breaker and a 2 ton on 32A, but check the plate on the AC and ask your electrician. Send us a photo of the plate on WhatsApp and we will suggest one.
Can I use an ordinary breaker on the solar side?
No. The DC side of a solar system (panels to inverter, battery to inverter) needs a breaker made for DC, such as the Mora DC breakers on this page. An AC breaker is not built to switch DC and may not cut a DC fault. The AC output of the inverter uses ordinary AC breakers.
What is an ELCB, and what is a voltage protector?
An earth leakage breaker (ELCB) trips when current leaks to earth, through a damaged appliance or damp wiring, which an ordinary MCB cannot detect. A voltage protector switches the whole supply off when the voltage goes too high or too low, and reconnects when it is normal; it saves fridges, ACs, motors and electronics from bad supply. A house board usually has both, in front of the MCBs.
What is a sub meter?
A separate meter fitted after the main WAPDA meter to measure one portion of a building, so a landlord can bill a tenant or a shop can split a bill. Our digital sub meter is Rs 4,800; ask on WhatsApp about single or three phase.
Is delivery free?
Orders of Rs 5,000 or more ship free anywhere in Pakistan; below that delivery is Rs 300. The MCCBs ship free on their own. In our own city delivery is always free. You pay cash on delivery.
What is your return policy?
Unused items in their original packing can be returned. Tell us within 24 hours of receiving the parcel; there are no refunds after 7 days for any reason, and the customer pays the return courier.
